PAPER SUBMISSIONS

Full papers must be submitted through the online submission and review website. All papers must be submitted by December 26, 2022, with a strict deadline. The authors will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their papers through email by February 19, 2023. If a revision is necessary, the authors will be notified before this date. The contributions are limited to a maximum of five (5) pages. Accompanying documents can however be submitted. Papers must be prepared according to the PES Authors Kit, which is available here.

The authors will be notified if their papers have been selected for a presentation at the forum or poster sessions. Presenters and session chairs coordinate the duration and sequence of each presentation. Guidelines for PowerPoint slides can be found here.

Application-Based Papers: Papers primarily written by industry members are encouraged. They must focus on non-commercial applications of new solutions and/or technologies to solve existing or emerging problems in power systems.

An author of an accepted PES transaction paper who is interested in presenting it at the 2023 IEEE PES GT&D Conference and Exposition may only upload the summary of their paper to the online submission and review page within the time limits specified above. The appropriate Technical Committee Program Chair (TCPC) determines whether the topic of the paper is suitable for one of the technical meetings. The author will be informed of the decision only the abstract will be included in the Conference Proceedings.

Conference Registration: According to the IEEE policy, all presenters must register for the conference. The papers will not be released for publication in the Conference Proceedings or scheduled for presentation unless the registration fee is paid. In addition, articles that are not presented will not be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Note that the registration deadline for authors might be before the general registration deadline.
